By bus

There are buses to Uffington and the White Horse from Faringdon, Wantage and Swindon.

From Monday to Saturday the RH Transport service 67 operates between Faringdon and Wantage, via Uffington.

On Saturdays only, RH Transport's X47 service operates between Wantage and Swindon via Uffington, with three services each way.

At present there are no bus services in the Uffington area on Sundays.

By train

The nearest railway station is Swindon. Train times can be obtained here.

One of the most enjoyable ways of reaching White Horse Hill is by walking the Ridgeway. The National Trails office has a very informative site about this ancient path.
